I Love My Bose!
Big sound from a compact system!
I always wanted a Bose Radio!
For years whenever I saw a Bose Radio in a store, I would say to my husband that I wanted one of those amazing sound systems. Whenever we stayed in a B&B and there was a Bose Radio in the room, I would, again, say to my husband that I had always wanted one of those radios. Well, he never got the hint. Have you ever had that experience of dropping hints only to have them ignored or forgotten?
Since dropping hints did not work, I finally just told my spouse at Thanksgiving, "I want a Bose Radio for Christmas this year!" The timing was perfect because 1. he was in the listening mode; 2. it was gift buying time.
The very next week, we went to the Bose Store and I picked out the color that I wanted. Yes, the Bose System comes in three shades of neutral: Dark Gray (sort of black), Titanium Silver (light gray) and white.
This Thanksgiving, I need to remind my husband that I want a CD Changer. I have learned my lesson and now I tell him exactly what I want. If you keep scrolling down the page, you will see my Bose Music System in its home on a shelf. I have the Bluetooth Adapter (which was included as a special offer when I purchased my radio) and use it a lot with my iPhone music apps. I conveniently left a lot of room for a CD changer. If worse comes to worse (which it probably will) I am prepared to make a sign to put on top of the radio that says "I NEED A CD CHANGER!" Yes, I will need to "yell".
What exactly do I love about my Bose Sound System?
1. The sound is Amazing! At a low volume, I can hear it very well in the room where the sound system is located. I can also turn the volume up so I can hear the radio in the den or the dining room. There is no annoying vibration of the base tones, nor is the sound at the treble level hard on the ears at increased volume. If I am playing music, the melodies just floats around the room surrounding me with the sounds that the artists would be proud to claim as their own.
2. I can turn the Bose on by either gently tapping the front top of the radio or by using the remote control.
3. The design of the sound system is a classic so you do not have to purchase all the components at once. For example, the CD changer that is on my "wish list" will match the radio that I purchased last year. They have the same Footprint.
4. All the fabulous sound comes from a system that is smaller than a bread box--no big, bulky speakers to dust.

You must have these Bose accessories:
or at least put them on your wish list!
I have the bluetooth adapter and have used it often. I have the Pandora App and the Radio Paradise App on my iPhone. With the bluetooth adapter I can listen to either music source through my Bose System. Love it.
The CD changer is on my wish list for this Christmas. I like being able to put in more than one CD and listen to my favorite music for hours on end. The Bose System is so easy to assemble so I am not at all worried that I cannot set it up.
Buy these Bose accessories now before they sell out. Make someone happy!
My Bose Wave Radio
I put my Bose in the Kitchen. That is where I spend most of my time, now-a-days. When I get my Bose CD Changer, I can load my favorite artists and listen while I work. What do I work on? Well, naturally I cook so I can write new recipe pages here on Squidoo. Then there is the laundry. UGH. Even there are only two of us living in the house now, I am constantly washing clothes. Most of them are my husband's "work on the race car" shirts and pants, so there is not much ironing to do, but it is such a CHORE. I enjoy listening to NPR because we do not get a printed news paper anymore. The Bose sound is so good that I can hear it all over the first floor and keep up with the world's happenings with thorough enjoyment.
The image is mine, by the way. See the Bluetooth Adapter to the left of the Bose Radio? As said before, I can listen to my iTunes, Pandora or Radio Paradise from my phone through the radio. Amazing and practical.
What is your opinion of the Bose Sound System?
Some think that the Bose sound systems are too expensive. I do not. The amazing sound that emanates from my radio is worth every penny that was spend on its purchase. (My hubby just walked in the room and I reminded him that I want the CD changer for Christmas! He said, "Is that what you want?" I said, "Yes." He said again, "Is that what you want?" I reiterated, "Yes." I am sure he heard me.)
If you have a Bose Sound System, please share your feelings about this radio--even if you do not agree with me.
Thanks in advance.
